Mystic RPS is a 1v1, magically imbued version of Rock Paper Scissors with spellcasting, card game controls mechanics, and significant opponent reading.
The inaugural product, Deck Of The Neophyte, is a well rounded introductory deck meant to introduce players to the beautiful mind games of Mystic RPS. It contains 3 Archetypes: Shaman, Magus, and Seer, and each allows you to wield the Deck Of The Neophyte in distinct ways.

Each round, there is contest of Rock Paper Scissors (aka RPS) played with your hand after spells are cast, hands are tuned, and players are controlled. The winner of the RPS contest receives a gem.
The first player to receive 7 gems is the winner.
Each player acts during each phase of the turn so that they can manage their hands, cast spells, and then use the cards in their hand to compete in an RPS contest.
Players ready their Rock, Paper, or Scissor card in secret. They are encouraged to play mind games and take guesses at what their opponent has readied or is readying. They then reveal their readied card at the same time.
However, unlike traditional Rock Paper Scissors, players are able to swap their readied card from a limited selection of exposed cards from each player's decks.
The winner is determined by card type, and the next turn begins.

Every card has a type - Rock, Paper, or Scissors (with very few unique exceptions), which means any card can be used in the RPS contest that happens in every turn.
Some cards are hybrid types that beat two other types but succumb to one.

Very powerful effects that both players have access to - but casting spells potentially thins your RPS contest options.
Spells can help your hand, your chances of winning, increase the mind game, or harm your opponent.

Swap your played card with one of your "Echo Cards" - exposed cards your opponent KNOWS could be swapped in. The presence of any Echoes in a player’s control adds a complex layer of guesswork to the contest.

Every turn the Affinity Die is rolled. Winning the RPS contest with a card type that matches this turn’s Affinity Die result grants an additional gem.
It is the core wrinkle in the guesswork - is your opponent playing to the Affinity Die, or expecting you to?

Utilize an Archetype to give your deck a unique mechanical twist. Cards of Power end up back in your hand quicker, and the unique passive ability specific to each Archetype influences the way you play your deck in powerful and interesting ways.
